Alexandra Russo

Ms. Russo is a Project Engineer at Schneider Engineering, PLLC with experience in traffic engineering and forensic engineering.  Ms. Russo has knowledge of industry and local standards and policies for transportation and traffic engineering, roadway design, building design, pedestrian safety design, and infrastructure design.  She has experience with performing and reviewing traffic impact studies, zoning studies, parking studies, designing roadway improvements, designing and improving traffic signals for improved traffic flow and traffic safety, reviewing construction plans, codes and regulations, designing parking areas on and off-street, engineering analyses of traffic control devices, site line review, vehicle turning radii, and traffic flow evaluation.  Her software experience includes industry-standard software such as HCS, AutoCAD and AutoTURN.

Ms. Russo utilizes traffic engineering knowledge to also investigate traffic accident cases, pedestrian accident cases, and hazardous infrastructure situations.  Ms. Russo’s work is used to represent municipalities (Counties, Towns, and Villages), law firms, insurance agencies, and private clients.  She has worked on dozens of individual cases in the traffic engineering and forensic engineering area in locations in Nassau and Suffolk Counties, New York City and New York State.  Some of the projects she has worked on include the Belmont Park Arena project and Dragon Springs.

During her career, Ms. Russo has worked on behalf of a variety of public agencies and private clients.  Her duties included site and construction plan review, engineering analysis using industry-standard software, site inspection, and investigative research.

In addition to her college education, Ms. Russo is consistently continuing her education through additional coursework taking over a dozen online transportation courses and attended online seminars to keep up to date with the industry.
